Garrison Cover

Marine Corps Green Garrison Cover is worn for males with the top brim closed and the USMC eagle, globe, and anchor affixed to the left side of the cover. For officers, insignia is worn on the center line of the seam on the right side of the garrison cover and parallel to the deck. The bottom of the cover should be one inch or approximately 2 finger widths above the brim of the nose.

Garrison Cover

Marine Corps Green Garrison Cover is worn for males with the top brim closed and the USMC eagle, globe, and anchor affixed to the left side of the cover. For officers, insignia is worn on the center line of the seam on the right side of the garrison cover and parallel to the deck. The bottom of the cover should be one inch or approximately 2 finger widths above the brim of the nose.

USMC Ribbons

Ribbons are worn 1/8 of an inch above the left breast pocket. Ribbons are arranged in order of seniority with the most senior ribbon on the uppermost right-hand side of the wearer.

Khaki Tie with Tie Tab

The khaki tie is worn with the Service Bravos and Alphas only. When wearing they tie, you are to have a half-windsor knot with a dimple below the knot. The tie clasp is to be worn between the 3rd and 4th buttons down on the uniform and parallel with the deck.

Khaki Long Sleeved Button Down Shirt

The khaki long sleeved button down shirt is worn with creases on the sleeves where the shirt hangs on the hangar and the creases should go down the sleeve. All buttons should be buttoned and there should be no wrinkles. Shirt stays must be worn with this uniform.

USMC Rank Insignia

Insignia is worn (for officers) one inch and parallel with the inside of the collar. For NCO's, the insignia is worn four inches below the shoulder seam and centered on the sleeve.

Bright Work

The bright work is the same as used in the cammies and the Service Charlies. The tip of the belt will not extend farther than 4 inches, but not be shorter than 2 inches from the tip of the buckle. The tip of the buckle will be alligned with the gig line of your Shirt and Trousers.

MC Green Trousers

The trousers of should have creases at the front and back and neatly hemmed within 1/4 inch above or below the welt of the shoe in the rear. The crease of the trousers should be extending from the hem to 2 inches above the crotch of the trousers. The trousers should not have wrinkles on them.

Oxford Black Dress Shoes

The black dress shoes should be worn fully laced and tied. Shoes should be well shined without scuffs or any scratches.
