The classisbeginneror elementary level.(Please write a minimum of 100 words)Game/Activity for Speaking Skills:Name of Game:“Verb Relay Race”Objective:This game helps young learners practice speaking in full sentences while using action verbs.How to Play:1.Preparation:Write the 6 target action verbs (e.g., jump, run, clap, swim, sing, dance) onindividual cards or pieces of paper. Make sure the students have enough space to move.2.Warm-up:Start with a quick review of basic action verbs they may already know (e.g., play,walk, talk). Have the students repeat each verb after you and demonstrate the actions.3.Instructions:Divide the class into two teams. Each team lines up at one end of the room. On theother side, place the action verb cards. One student from each team runs to the cards, picksone, and performs the action. Then, they must form a sentence using the verb, like “I amjumping,” and return to their team.4.Team Practice:The next student in line will then run, pick a new verb, perform the action, andsay a sentence.5.Objective:The first team to finish all 6 actions correctly wins the game.You are teaching a mono lingual class of 8 year olds.
