Relief valve piping shall be piped independent of other equipment drains or relief valve discharge piping to the disposal point. Such pipe shall be installed in a manner that:

A. Can cause personal injury to occupants in the immediate area.

B. Can cause structural damage the building.

C. Does not cause personal injury to occupants in the immediate area.

D. A & B.

C. Does not cause personal injury to occupants in the immediate area.

Relief valve discharge piping shall be of those materials listed in Section 605.5, or shall be tested, rated and approved for such use in accordance with ASME A122.4.1. The material not listed:

A. Cast-iron pipe.

B. Steel pipe.

C. Copper or copper alloy pipe.

D. Plastic pipe.

D. Plastic pipe.

Piping from safety pan drains shall be of those materials listed in table 605.4, the material not listed:

A. Cadt-iron.

B. Plastic pipe.

C. Steel pipe.

D. A, B & C.
