Anna Garcia Case
Anna Garcia was a 20 year old college student found dead on September 26, at 10:00
A.M. by her friend, Taylor Diaz. Anna was found at the Gentry Life Sciences building, in the lab
she has been working at. There was a found with a gash on her forehead and a little bit of blood
on the comer of a table. There was a list of suspects, who were all questioned, and it was
concluded that none of the suspects were guilty. The objective of this investigation is to fmd the
cause of Anna's death and we did just that. After examining Anna's heart, we found a hole from
the left ventricle to the right ventricle, which would cause blood not to flotv properly in the heart.
This lack of blood flow in the heart caused .Anna to have a heart attack and die. As she was
falling she hit her on a table in the lab causing the gash on her forehead, but there was only a
small amount of blood because she was already dead. In conclusion, the cause of Anna Garcia's
death was a naturally occurring biological event and the law enforcements should not pursue a
criminal case of her death.
The evidence from the scene tells us that Anna was in the lab alone. Her fingerprints
were found on a piece of glass found in the lab. The only other fingerprints found at the crime
scene is from the handwritten note, which we can presume is from Eric Piedmont because it was
his fingerprints found on it. The blood found at the crime scene was analyzed and came back to
be Anna's blood only. All of the evidence found at the crime scene came back to Anna, showing
that she was alone in the lab.
Prior to Anna's death, Anna was mainly in the lab working, or out on the field practicing
soccer. One day she went out with Eric for a lunch date and was found studying outside with
Taylor and Eric. One day at soccer practice, she ran into Sam Greene by accident, causing Anna
to bruise her forehead and get a migraine. Anna took an over the counter medicine for the
migraine.
