Effective Leadership Characteristics and Responsibilities in PolicingOrganizations: Enhancing Organizational Success and Officer DevelopmentWhat is an example of some of the leadership characteristics and responsibilities withinpolicingorganizations? How do these leadership characteristics translate into overallorganizational effectiveness? What recommendations would you suggest so that policingorganizations are more successful?Leadership characteristics include leading by example, dedication, strong communication andlistening skills and being able to resolve conflict.
