Program Design Plan
Tim Trainer has been asked to come in and help Attorneys at Law
Legal administrative assistants with using Word. The
administrative assistants must use Word to type up legal briefs
using tools they do not use on a normal basis, such as line
numbering, spacing, and table of contents. Tim collects some
data from the Law Office and finds the administrative assistants
ages are 38-62, they work on computers all day, they have many
training hand outs posted around their desk to carry out tasks.
Tim Trainer has a training room with computers, a projector, and
a laptop for him to use.

2. Program objective: Make the trainees comfortable and habitual in
using the moderate to advance features of Ms Word.
Conditions:
Constant endeavor from the trainees end to learn
and practice the daily assignments.
Performance:
Minimum score of 80% in the test.
Criteria:
A multiple choice and a practical exercise based
test to evaluate the learning during the training.
3. List prerequisite skills (if any):
Proficiency in typing is a must. The attorneys should be willing to get the most of
their training time and learn as much as they can.
Hands on practice will make effective way of learning and for that they require
adequate self-practice especially for the Shortcut (Key combinations).
