Question 1 - Do you see a value in the use of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) as a
means of increasing employee self-awareness? Justify your position with support from the text

Answer –According to The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), human being are classified
into four pairs which are based on their psychological opposites. These four classifications are
described as below:
1. Extroverted or introverted (E or I).
2. Sensing or intuitive (S or N).
3. Thinking or feeling (T or F).
4. Perceiving or judging (P or J).
These four opposite pairs are further combined into 16 combinations to make different sixteen
personality types. For example:
i. INTJs are visionaries – These types of individuals have original minds and great drive for
their own ideas and purposes. They are in critical in nature and prefer independent
atmosphere and very determined and often stubborn.
