Please explainyour answer.When reflecting on the relationship between personal attitudes and resulting behaviorsusing the Theory of Planned Behavior, according to theory if we want to predict a behavior oran intention to do a behavior we need to know three things: attitude toward that behavior,subjective norms related to that behavior, and perceived behavioral control. Subjective normsinvolve one's belief of how people in that person's environment view the behavior. (Feenstra,2011) When reflecting on the relationship between personal attitudes and resulting behaviorsusing Cognitive Dissonance Theory which differs from Theory of Planned Behavior in the sensethat a gap between attitudes or between attitudes and actions that creates tension ordissonance. We often change our attitudes when faced with a high level of dissonance.(Feenstra, 2011) When reflecting on the relationship between personal attitudes and resultingbehaviors using Self-perception theory, which is the ability to figure out our attitudes by lookingat our behaviors, we find all three theories used frequently socially and clinically, however inmy opinion the Cognitive Dissonance theory is one that is used more in research and studiesand the other two are more frequently used socially.When a person has a negative attitude toward a particular individual or group, this canstrongly influence his attitude and behavior they will have towards them in the sense of
