They have approximately 300-340 employees of whichmost are part time leaving 40% full time. Mr. Jay Morgan is the operations manager as well asthe acting human resources (HR) manager.He is in need of aHuman Resources InformationSystem (HRIS) that will allow him to better perform his HR tasks and reduce his travel time. Mr.Morgan is currently traveling to each of the 8 locations on a weekly basis in order to completepayroll, scheduling, recruiting, hiring, and answering employee questions.Mr. Morgan has consulted with our firm in efforts to provide him with guidance on whichHRIS system and vendor would best suit his needs. It was established that Mr. Morgan needs aDatabase Management System (DBMS) as well as an incorporated payroll system.Below arethree different vendors that have the capabilities of providing Mr. Morgan with a system that willfit his needs. There is also a recommendation based on what our firm believes will best suitCastle’s Family Restaurant and Mr. Morgan.The intended goal is to find a vendor for Castle’s Family Restaurant and Mr. Jay Morganto better aid them in their daily HR tasks. Mr. Morgan will no longer have to travel to each of the8 locations, he will be able to perform all necessary HR tasks fromone location by incorporatingall eight restaurants into one system. Thus reducing human error and security breaches andallowing for an easier flow of the business and a more cost effective alternative.
