He was in Hiroshima when a bomb was dropped, and when he returned home to Nagasaki, another
bomb was dropped.

Yamaguchi was severely injured by the Little Boy bomb, because he was outside when it hit and was
physically affected.
3. How did the bombs affect Japanese people like Yamaguchi long-term?
Yamguchi lost senses like sight and hearing due to the bomb, and had to live with the fact that they
survived and their friends and family members didn't. It was devastating and many people lost their
homes.

He disliked the way it affected human dignity.

I disagree with it I think that nuclear weapons in that case should be used because the war was
coming to an end and the Japanese knew that as well as the americans and the world, but the Japanese
decided to fight even more probably til] they would of gotten pushed back to tokyo and in this case
the bomb probably killed less people than a full invasion of japan.

I think he is lucky to have his life and to continue living after the bombs were dropped.
