Birth control is a concept which has become very common in almost all the countries of the world today and is no mystery to us. There are innumerable methods of protection against diseases and pregnancy both for males and females and also we come across a lot of clinics specifically for birth control which provide services to women at low cost or even free of cost in over populated countries like India and China. The pioneering nation to have adopted birth control was Egypt followed by Greece and Rome and most modern nation to have adopted birth control is UK. It was Thomas Robert Malthus who at the age of nine went against the Church and gave his famous theory of population where he says that if population is not controlled by man the natural disasters would automatically reduce the population in the form of diseases, epidemics and death. As the people in those times suffered the setback caused by over population were forced to go against the verdict of the Church and adopt the birth control methods and the movement took over at a very fast rate and by 1870, a lot of birth control devices like the condoms, diaphragms, vaginal sponges, and medicated tampons were available to common man at the English and the American pharmacies . As these devices were very easily available to people, this forced the government to pass a bill barring the dispersal of these birth control diplomacies across the state lines and mail. At that time the people were already having too many children and were not even ready one more child, women took to even abortions, which were no doubt dangerous and risky because they even caused the death of these women. The major birth control clinic was founded by Aletta Jacobs in Amsterdam in 1878 and the first clinic for birth control at the US was established by Margaret Sanger in Brooklyn N.Y in the year 1916. But unfortunately, Margaret Sanger was arrested and the clinic was closed by the authorities and she was jailed for a month or so. She did not stop at that, and she established
