Physical facilities The physical facilities such as lighting, ventilation, air - conditioning, painting on walls, space provided for each employee, equipment, etc. have their influence on employee behavior and performance. 2. Organization structure and design Human behavior is influenced by the way in which the different groups and departments in the organization are set up and the way in which the reporting relationships and lines of communication are established among different positions in the organization. the behavior and performance of an individual is influenced by where that person fits into the overall structure and design of the organization. 3. Leadership The role of leadership and supervision is to provide direction, assistance, advice and coaching to individual members. The leader behavior is, therefore, a potential source of influence on an individual. 4. Rewards system - Organizations establish reward systems to compensate their employees. The behavior and performance of an individual is influenced by the reward system which may include both financial and non financial rewards.
