PROJ598Contract and Procurement1.INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS1.1.General Description of WorkThis Request for Proposal (RFP) is designed to solicit proposals from qualifiedcontractorstoaddress Shuman & White need to develop a new baseball field and athletic clubhouse.Shuman& Whiteis seeking to designamedium-size baseball field on a 20-acre site locatedin DekalbCounty, Georgia.Theproject will includean athletic clubhouse that will havea parking lotwithacapacity for50 cars.The land is flat withdilapidated structures and trees of which thewinningbidderwill beresponsiblefor the demolition and removal.The design of the field must havecounty sewer and water utilities.The selected partner will share in the mission and businessobjectivesas of Shuman & White.Thesemutual goals will be met by providing best price andlowest total cost and a high level of service.1.2. What Must Be Included with Bid1.2.1Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of a series of selection criteria whichshall include price, conformance to the requirements of this RFP, features,performance, reliability,contractorexperience,delivery and installation schedule,and overall responsiveness to this RFP.1.2.2Contract awards will be based upon the lowest priced, responsive and responsibleproposal, which, in the sole opinion ofShuman & Whiteis deemed best to serveits current and future needs.1.2.3Proposalsshould include the following:A.Full legal name of the company.B.Year business was established.C.Number of people currently employed.
