This is essay on three psychologists who played key role in shaping the foundation of
psychology we know today, Freud, Jung and Adler. The above named three name individuals
lived during the same time; Freud and Adler were surely understood for their work since they
have cooperated at last going their different ways when their speculations didn't line up. Out of
these three mean I will be concentrating on Freud after I discuss the majority of their works
Sigmund Freud (1856-1939) was the first individual to theorize personality, much of his
point of view on personality was based on his youth. Freud judged that people are spurred by 2
key organic drives/impulses – 1. The life intuition including your sexual commute or vitality -
charisma" and 2.the passing sense which clarifies people common propensity for hostility
Sigmund believed that each individual comes to have a particular personality due to the
theoretical perspective they may have. His theory rotated around the fundamental structure of the
psyche which comprises of the id, accountable for feeling delight and is directed by both the
inner self, working on reality and the superego, working on the ethical quality - how an
individual manages the contentions between the two standards is the thing that eventually shapes
identity. All together for a man to grow completely Freud trusted that there are 5 essential phases

Carl Jung (1875 – 1961) theory was a simple one; at the point when brains are dynamic
amid times we are wakeful, we essentially interchange between taking in data around us and
settling on choices in light of our general surroundings and the universe of our cognizant
personalities. His theory also stated that the basic human “function- attitudes” are 8 different
mental processes;
