ABSTRACT:
The main purpose of this paper is to argue the fact that terrorism as we know it today is basically
a particular type of mindset that has become a world player in the political and economic factors
of the globe. It has also become necessary to try and understand the psychology of terrorism, but
is a tough task since terrorist does not volunteer for psychological studies.

Terrorist consider it extremely important that they instill fear into the minds of their victims. The
installation of fear or terror makes it possible for them to get their demands met by these targeted
victims.
