Terrorism is a great threat to the society as it has the potential of harming the healthy
peaceful environment. It affects the country as a whole and the incidences are hideous enough to
stir the nation. It can also effect the young generation and many innocent people are the victims
of either their acts or their impact. Terrorism has its impact in many of the countries where the
terrorist are converting the young generation into new age criminals. It would be wrong to take
the names of those countries but given the situation that the terrorist groups are increasing and
flourishing means they are getting power from somewhere (James W. Clarke, October 2006).
The psychology of terrorists is very complex and they have different mend set than
normal people. They need to be watched they are not there to hide. They perform the most
atrocious crimes and want to create stir on a larger perspective (Roy F. Baumeister, March
2007). They want to be noticed and a lot of people’s attention. Those people can be the officials
of the government or general public. According to Brian Jenkins “Terrorists want a lot of people
watching, not a lot of people dead.” They are criminal minded and this is the primary reason that
they want to seek attention from wrong deeds instead of good deeds.
Another aspect of the situation is that sometimes people are drifted towards terrorism
because of some bad experiences and for the simple reason that they could not do something
substantial positively so they drifted towards exploring their negative side. It is a complex
psychological problem in some cases. The causes can be various as some of them were just
caught up by the situations or were so innocent of not even realizing that they are committing a
crime (Matthew Noah smith, June 2008). Once people are trapped in the situations they cannot
get out of it and become a part of the gang. In most of the countries if somebody has committed a
