Executive Introduction
CanGo is a small-sized company that retails a variety of products and services, ranging from books
and videos to online gaming services. CanGo has had problems in the past with market strategies and
formal planning. Liz, the founder of CanGo, and management would like to expand into the online
gaming market. Our company, WillDo Consultants is writing a business plan on how to assist them the
planning process of implementing a storage and retrieval system for online gaming. We will go over the
features and benefits of the companies that we have researched and give them the recommendations on
which one we believe will best fit their needs. We will also be assisting them on how to implement this
system to get help them to make sure that their company will be competitive when they open into this
new market segment.

CanGo is a small company that appears to be more like a family than an organization. This
can both benefit and hind the productions within the company. Each employee is assigned
certain task but some of the employees do not seem that they are able to handle these tasks,
either because they are unorganized or do not grasp the concept of what is wanted.
1. Performance- The employees at CanGo are not meeting the all of the standards of the
company. Be it because of lack of training that is need for the task or lack of organizational
skills to maintain and function towards the given task.

2. Training- Specific training is need to better assist the employees of CanGo at all levels.
This training will focus on organizational skills for all members of the staff. CanGo also needs
to set up specific training for new hires or personnel that are struggling to reintroduce certain
concepts or ideas. There should also be a training that is held annual in order to reintroduce
certain concepts and areas that need attention.
3. Behavior- Management needs to be aware of what is going on among the members of the
staff in order to address and maintain any negative issues that have arouse. By the management
addressing these issues it will remove much of the animosity and tension that may arise. The
staff at CanGo must also be made aware of the circumstances of certain action and the
consequences that will arise.
4. Responsibilities-Each section of CanGo is divided into sections to better manage the give
task. There are different task given to certain employees due to their ability levels with the
company. The management of the CanGo need to be aware of what each staff members are
doing which task and assign them, as well as monitor them accordingly. The managements need
to insure that all members are receiving fair treatment and not additional work is being placed on
one specific member of the team.
5. Outcome-As a whole each member of CanGo need to understand the tasks that are given
to them and be held responsible for the task. The staff must also be held to the standard of the
company and perform to these task.

Employee Accountability Gantt Chart
To assist the staff at CanGo with meeting and retaining the organizational training that was
recommended there are several outside sources that are available. One of the most frequently
used and available is the courses that are held at local colleges and universities. These courses
will assist and improve many of the staff members. There are also certain companies such are
Franklin Covey, which offers seminars on organization. These seminars can be arranged through
the company or are held throughout the country at various locations and times.
Each member of the team need to be made aware of what will happen and the circumstances
if the accountability situation is not resolved and standards are meet. The management needs to
be made aware of the repercussion that they must place, such as counseling, suspensions and
even termination. These are the extreme measures but each member must be aware of them if
the training does not assist in the increase production.

As a member of management there are always tough decisions that have to be made for
the better of the company. One of these decisions is seen with the employee evaluations. The
main issue with the employee evaluations is the no member of management want to give a bad
evaluation to a member of the staff. Rather they choose to give each member good evaluations
which in turn placing ever one on the same level. By the management choice to take these
actions it is making everyone equal and the staff members that excel are not being noticed. The
management needs to rather evaluate each member fairly to provide promotions for the ones that
deserve it and growing room for the other members that have areas that need improvement. This
can be done by changing the way in which the forms and procedures are prepared and processed.
Many of the forms can now be done using a web base form to ensure all evaluations are
completed in a timely manner. Also the management can prepare a list of standards that all
members are evaluated on. Finally the management needs to begin outsource the evaluations to
Human Resources to ensure proper processing.
Form Prep- It is important to has a method in which the evaluation for are created and review
amongst the management. Every employee deserves to have a fair and equal evaluations, this is
why many company use electronic evaluations or software to insure that all evaluations are done
in a timely manner. By know when an evaluation is doing also allows for both the management
and staff to proactive in completing the process.
Standards- CanGo management are too concerned about being their employees friends,
which in turns makes it difficult for them to give an employee a poor evaluation. This is why
there should be a set standard for the way in which each employee is evaluated. Within the
guideline of standards there needs to be specific factors that are looked at and evaluated for an
employee’s work behavior. By providing standards and a way in which to measure a person

performance allows for an easier and a more centralized evaluation process for the management.
It allows for not personal opinions to play and as well as awarding the outstanding employees.
This information can be obtained from other members of the staff and management. This will
give a more objective approach to the evaluations. Finally ensure that each member of the staff
receives a copy of their evaluation, this gives them a step stone to begin improving what is
needed to for the next evaluation.
Outsource- To make the processing of evaluations more centralized it is important to level
the processing up to the Human Resource Personnel. By allow the HR personnel to process the
finalized forms ensure for no bias evaluations as well as format errors. This also cause for a
deadline to be set to ensure all evaluations are completed in a timely manner. As well as a
deadline the human resource personnel can assist each member of management in perfecting
there managerial skills and their productivity.
