5Executive IntroductionCanGois a small-sized company that retails a variety of products and services, ranging from booksand videos to online gaming services. CanGo has had problems in the past with market strategies andformal planning. Liz, the founder of CanGo, and management would like to expand into the onlinegaming market. Our company, WillDo Consultants is writing a business plan on how to assist them theplanning process of implementing a storage and retrieval system for online gaming. We will go over thefeatures and benefits of the companies that we have researched and give them the recommendations onwhich one we believe will best fit their needs. We will also be assisting them on how to implement thissystem to get help them to make sure that their company will be competitive when they open into thisnew market segment.Areas needing ImprovementManagement IssuesEmployee accountabilityCanGois a small company that appears to be more like a family than an organization.Thiscan both benefit and hind the productions within the company.Each employee is assignedcertain task but some of the employees do not seem that they are able to handle these tasks,either because they are unorganized or do not grasp the concept of what is wanted.1.Performance-The employees at CanGoare not meeting the all of the standards of thecompany.Be it because of lack of training that is need for the task orlack of organizationalskills to maintain and function towards the given task.

62.Training-Specific training is need to better assist the employees of CanGo at all levels.This training will focus on organizational skills for all members of the staff.CanGo also needsto set up specific training for new hires or personnel that are struggling to reintroduce certainconcepts or ideas.There should also be a training that is held annual in order to reintroducecertain concepts andareas that need attention.3.Behavior-Management needs to be aware of what is going on among the members of thestaff in order to address and maintain any negative issues that have arouse. By the managementaddressing these issues it will remove much of the animosity and tension that may arise.Thestaff at CanGo must also be made aware of thecircumstancesof certain action and theconsequencesthat will arise.4.Responsibilities-Each section of CanGo is divided into sections to better manage the givetask.There are different task given to certain employees due totheirability levels with thecompany.The management of the CanGo need to be aware of what each staff members aredoing which task and assign them, as well as monitor them accordingly. The managements needto insure that all members are receiving fair treatment and not additional work is being placed onone specific member of the team.5.Outcome-As a whole each member of CanGo need to understand the tasks that are givento them and be held responsible for the task.The staff must also be held to the standard of thecompany and perform to these task.

7Employee Accountability Gantt ChartTo assist the staff at CanGowith meeting and retaining the organizational training that wasrecommended there are several outside sources that are available.One of the mostfrequentlyused andavailableisthecourses that areheld at local colleges and universities.These courseswill assist and improve many of the staff members.There are also certain companies such areFranklin Covey, which offers seminars on organization.These seminars canbearranged throughthe company or are held throughout the country at variouslocations and times.Each member of the team need to be made aware of what will happen and thecircumstancesif the accountability situation is not resolved and standards are meet. 8As a member of management there arealways tough decisions that have to be madeforthe better of the company.One of these decisionsisseen with the employee evaluations.Themain issue with the employee evaluations is the no member of management want to give a badevaluation to a member of the staff.Rather they choose to give each member good evaluationswhich in turn placing ever one on the same level.By the management choice to take theseactions it is making everyone equal and the staff members that excel are not being noticed. Themanagement needs to rather evaluate each member fairly to provide promotions for the ones thatdeserve it and growing room for the other members that have areas that need improvement.Thiscan be done by changing the way in which theforms and procedures are prepared and processed.Many of the forms cannowbe done using aweb base formto ensure all evaluations arecompleted in a timelymanner.Also the management canprepare a list of standards that allmembersare evaluated on. Finallythe management needs to beginoutsourcethe evaluations toHuman Resources to ensure proper processing.Form Prep-It is important to has a method in which the evaluation for are created and reviewamongst the management. Every employee deserves to have a fair and equal evaluations, this iswhy many company use electronic evaluations or software to insure that all evaluations are donein a timely manner. By know when an evaluation isdoingalso allows for both the managementand staff to proactive in completing the process.Standards-CanGo management are tooconcerned about being their employees friends,which in turns makes it difficult for them to give an employee a poor evaluation.This is whythere should be a set standard for the way in which each employee is evaluated.Within theguideline of standards there needs to be specific factors that are looked at and evaluated for anemployee’s work behavior.By providing standards and a way in which to measure a person
