Analysis of Job Satisfaction and Employment Factors Among University
Lecturers: A Statistical Approach
1. Case 1 Analysis:
o Describe the null hypothesis tested in Case 1, including the different sub-
hypotheses related to experience and job satisfaction.
o Summarize the findings regarding job satisfaction among university lecturers
based on their years of experience and type of employment.
o What statistical tests were used, and what was the result of the ANOVA analysis
regarding job satisfaction and cadre?
2. Case 2 Analysis:
o Explain the key assumptions made in Case 2, as well as the null and alternative
hypotheses tested in the multinomial logistic regression.
o Interpret the results of the ANOVA test and the multinomial logistic regression,
particularly focusing on the significance of starting salary, educational level, and
previous experience.
o Discuss the classification results, specifically the accuracy rates and the
observations from the classification table. What does the data suggest about
predicting job categories?

Case 1: Article for Week 4
The objective of the study is to analyze different levels of work satisfaction based in
cadre, characteristic of job the job, job experience of the university lecturers. Questionnaire is
applied to establish the responses of the lecturers so as to establish the desired objectives.
Descriptive statistics, inference statistics, frequency table, the ANOVA test, T-test, the Pearson
rule correlation analysis is applied in the data analysis. Inferential statistics includes the level of
significance in the different categories of experience with a considerable level of decrease from 3
to 24 years. The null hypothesis is rejected H0 at 95%. The ANOVA analysis rejects the null
hypothesis H0 affirming the big difference in the different types of teachers. Job contentment
reflected in the cadre. Furthermore the ANOVA analysis affirms the rejection of H0 revealing the
difference in the visitors, contract and permanent employees of the college.
The Null Hypothesis
Ho1.1 There is no significant difference between employment fulfillment of college instructors
having 0-3 and 4-12 years of encounters.
Ho1.2 There is no significant difference between occupation fulfillment of college educators
having 0-3 and 13-20 years of encounters.
Ho1.3 There is no significant difference between occupation fulfillment of 0-3 and 21 and above.
Ho1.4 There is no significant difference between occupation fulfillment of 4-12 and 13-20 a long
time of encounters.
Ho1.5 There is no significant difference between occupation fulfillment of 4-12 and 21 and
above years of encounters.
