SUMMARY PAPER 2
Summary Paper
The purpose of this paper is to show evidence of personal understanding of an issue or
situation that relates to business, government and society. This paper should outline the current
ethical issues, sources of ethical behavior, legal viewpoints that relate to the issue or situation.
Lastly this paper will outline suggestions for corrective action pertaining to the situation.
The Job
One of the jobs that I have deals with working with youth at risk. These youth are
between the ages of eleven years old to eighteen. I do have a few people that I work with that
continue up to twenty –one years of age. I started working with kids as a way of giving back for
mistakes that I made as a youth. The kids that I work with are usually from single parent or
grandparent homes. Most of the kids have been abused to some degree. Some of these kids have
reported the abuse and others refuse to file a report. This does cause a problem as I walk a thin
line of having to report such issues to an authority figure. Since I am not a legally recognized
counselor or medical personal I am not beholding to reporting such action, but there is such a
