Scope and Purpose The scope of this project is to analyze and assess the problems and feasibility of an ERP installation. We will look at the feasibility of the use of SAP to manage three business areas. During the investigation we will be looking into the business needs and recommendations for the use of SAP. Business Direction OPPORTUNITIES:  Increase revenue by market share in non - copier - related services  Decrease cost by increasing efficiency a nd standardizing processes  I ncrease customer retention through effective sales, sales support and customer support  Improve invoicing and reporting processes The primary focus for Bandon Group is to increase sales by raising its market share in non - copier - related services. Diversification from the core copier - based services is mentioned as an opportunity for each of the divisions. Like in the case of the division in Portland could mature by increasing it s market share in IT consulting , networking and imaging outsourcing business . The next focus for Bandon Group is to reduce its costs. Increasing the efficiency of managing the administrative back office functions Bandon Group can maximize the reduction of duplicate tasks, thus saving time and money spent on data collection . A common increase in production with no addition to overhead will sustain a growth in profits without a substantial increase in cost. One way to do this is by implementing best practices and standardizing business processes .
