The US health care sector takes up more than a 6th of the economy. At present, it
represents 18% of the GDP. By 2021, it's assessed that health care will be about 20% of the GDP
and 34% by 2040. As indicated by the CDC, in 2007, the national health care expenditures in the
United States totaled $2.2 trillion or 16% of its total national output, a 14% expansion from
2000. This speaks to a normal of more than $7,400 per individual. Measured up to other
developed nations, the US is the greatest high-roller in the health care sector
