Introduction
Health care plans and benefits are most important for organizations and employees.
Organizations of all sizes must be experienced of the pros and cons of offering health plans and
benefits to their employees. United States health care reform sets in action the biggest change in
employer provided some health plans and benefits in the time of World War II (K Sandusky & J
Spletzer, 2013). In 1993 United States Department of Labor (DOL) was established. It is a
regulatory organization that mainly administers and implement some federal laws to include
Equal Pay Act, Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA), Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA), Family and
Medical Leave Act, Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and while these useful
laws are being enforced it also protects, promotes employees right (K Sandusky & J Spletzer,
2013). United States Department of Labor (DOL) will play a significant role for effort to make
an economy opportunity, where all United States citizens who work hard and act responsibly. In
this research paper, we will examine important features of the Department of Labor website and
how all features can be used to monitor employee benefit rights. Also this paper examine how
employee verify their benefits are incompliance with federal laws, and how employees would
use this particular information to make sure their benefits rights are protected and create an
outline of the website that would orient others usefulness for regulatory compliance.
