The abstract foundation that serves as the framework of suggestion to supply guidance and trend
for the clinician is known as nursing philosophy. Numerous nursing scholars, including Patricia
Benner have added to the theoretical base in nursing. My own philosophy of nursing, wrought by
the first pioneers of nursing whose main aim was to uphold health and accomplish the finest state
of wellbeing for the ill. A personal assessment and viewpoint system play a very crucial role in
providing nursing care. My own morals and values have guided me every step as a nursing
professional. Throughout my carrier as a nurse, I have watchfully examined the various ways to
attain advanced education to make best use of my abilities as a health care provider. In this paper
I shall be discussing my own philosophy of nursing which includes values and beliefs, the role of
a nurse who is baccalaureate prepared including the change of roles with the available
opportunities, two professional goals; both short term and long term and also the challenges they
pose, and finally to come up with a complete plan to achieve these goals in the Nursing Course
of 5 years.
