Malachi B. , Akwia T. . Givanui A. . MaLonnie T.CELL ANALOGYYou and your lab partner from our biology class will be responsible for creating a explaining an analogy to describe die organelles of the celLYour group may choose ant' appropriate structure or system to use for your comparison. Your choice must be approved by me and there trill only beone of each analogy in our classroom (so be creative and get to me early!).Your assignment trill be divided into two sections described below. Foliotv the directions carefully and have fun! The more careful thoughtand energy you put into this project, the more comfortable yon will be with the organelles and how they work together to make YOU work your best!Remember, our goal here is for you to learn the organelle names, structures, and functions in preparation for our next examThe Writing: It is important that your analogy explanation section be specific and thorough—show me that you not only know what each cellpart does but that you can also give creative and logical reasons to show why the structure you chose to represent it is a good comparison. Keep inmind that some of the jobs of organelles (for example, the Golgi body and ribosome} are related and therefore their analogy parts must also makesense as a group. Remember that your job is to relate the Amotion of the cell organelles to the function of your analogy parts; the structure itself doesnot have to be similar in appearance. Your written work must be typed; you may make your template or use the one I have created and posted onSchool Loop for you to edit. Include a job assignment table—which individual was responsible for which organelle explanations and visualcomponents? The Drawing: Label your drawing with the appropriate cell organelle names (please, no legend key number system). Your visual shouldshow time and care and can be a drawing or some sort of collage display utilizing other materials in addition to pen pencils. Both partner names andthe class period should be listed on the bottom right of the front of the drawing and the title of your cell analogy should be listed at the top (see titleon next sheet for assistance).9/27/24This assignment is due onCell Analogy: The cell is like _a soccer team.Organelle NameFunction in CellFunction in AnalogyCell MembraneControls what enters and exits the cellDefenseCytoplasmcreating living conditions in cellsCoachCytoskeletonmaintaining cell shapeThe back lineNucleusThe brain of the cellGoalieEndoplasmic Reticulum(E.R.)Transports materialsStrikersRibosomeproduces proteinssoccer ballGolgi BodyTakes materials from E.R. and ships it towhere it needs to goMidfieldMitochondriaCreates energy and releases itThe back wingsVacuoleStores water, salts, proteins, andcarbohydratesManagersLysosomeBreaks down macromolecules, deadorganelles, and dead pathogensSweeper
